With people around the world, we share in the sadness at the news of the death of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Our prayers at this time are for the repose of his soul, and for HM The Queen and the Royal Family as they mourn him.
There are a number of ways in which you can give thanks for his life at St John’s if you wish.
A Requiem Mass will be said for the repose of his soul on Wednesday 13th April at 10am. You can worship with us in our building, or online. The order of service and live stream link are below.
A special evensong will be held the night before the funeral on Friday, 16th April at 6pm. You are encouraged to join this online if you can, but there are spaces in church for those unable to do so. The order of service and live stream link are below.
Church will be open between 9am and 6pm for private prayer.
In line with current government guidance, we will not be opening a book of condolence at St John’s. You are encouraged to sign the online book on the Church of England website instead.
