Worship Resources

Whilst we are unable to worship together, here are some resources to help you worship in your own homes, and to draw closer to God in new ways.

You can download the PDF to our booklet with resources for praying at home by clicking the download link below.

The latest video from our new YouTube channel is embedded below, but you can see more videos over on our channel here. This includes our Virtual Compline, sung by members of the St John’s Singers every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday evenings at 8pm. You can join them live, or see our YouTube for the back catalogue!

Diocese of London

The Diocese have been putting together materials to help us pray through this upcoming Holy Week that will be so different from any other we’ve experienced. You can watch a message from +Sarah below.

The Church of England website contains links to lots of resources to help you pray at home. You can also find out where services are being live streamed via the A Church Near You website.

Our worshipping from home booklet at the top of this page gives an introduction to the Daily Office. By downloading the free Time to Pray app, you can join in daily with Prayer during the Day, and with Night Prayer. Or you can listen to a podcast of these prayers below.

If you would like to pray Morning and Evening Prayer, you can find the texts for these every day on the Church of England website, along with details of the ‘Daily Prayer’ smartphone app.

There are also some prayers specific to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
